The Norwegian Geophysical Society (Norsk geofysikk Forening NGF) is a network of scientists across Norway who specialize in all aspects of the geophysical world – from ocean beds to upper atmosphere, and everything in between. The society will now start hosting regular meet ups and events in local hubs – including Tromsø. The second bi-annual General Assembly will also take place in Oslo in June 2026. Join us for this Fram Talk, where we will showcase some events, people to connect with and information about the upcoming general assembly.

About Fram Talks: The Fram Centre offers a multi-disciplinary, international, multicultural work environment, and we want to leverage this diversity. You can be a part of «Fram Talks», a venue for exchanging knowledge and learning from each other. These informal events, usually the second Tuesday of the month – except July and August – last 45 minutes, from 09.00 to 09.45, and occur in Lysgården at the Fram Centre. We will, of course, serve coffee and a light breakfast!
